Jeremi Young of The Rasansky Law Firm in Dallas, Texas and Rasansky & Young in Amarillo, Texas has been selected to the inaugural listing of the 2005 Texas Rising Stars.

Rising Stars are recognized as the top Texas lawyers age 40 or younger, or those who have been practicing law 10 years or less. Each year Texas Monthly magazine publishes its list of Texas Rising Stars.

Ballots are mailed to every Texas Attorney who has been practice five years or more. Attorneys are asked to name the best lawyers they have actually observed in action.

Each nominated lawyer is then given a score based on the number of votes received. Fewer than 2.5 percent of Texas attorneys receive the honor of being named a Rising Star.

The Texas Rising Stars list appears in the both the July 2004 issue of Texas Monthly magazine, and in Texas Rising Stars 2004, a new publication from the publishers of Law & Politics Media Inc.
